The Australian Stock Report is actually a number of different investment / trading rec reports you can choose from. This includes an Investors Report (IR, weekly stock recs), Traders Report (TR, daily trade recs for stocks, options ad CFD's), CFD Report (CFD, 3 x daily trade recs for CFD's), FX Report (FX, daily trade recs for Forex), and the Fixed Interest report (FI, weekly update on term deposit rates). Bluesky Report provides stock market picks, daily finance news, along with  technical and fundamental analysis about the Australian Stock Market and ASX listed stocks. Trades can be both long or short, with SMS alerts. Historical trade performance is available on their website.

Alan Kholer's Eureka report is an online publication with content usually published on Monday night, Wednesday night and Friday afternoon, with multiple contributors. It consists of investment ideas and research, broad strategic analysis, and commentary on events relevant to investors. There is a weekly minimum of three major feature articles, interviews with investment professionals, economists, fund managers, strategists and other analysts or senior executives. They also publish a range of weekly features on shares, property etc, and in-depth commentaries on investment strategy from Alan Kohler and Robert Gottliebsen.

Fat Prophets offers three different stock market research reports containing trade recommendations (buys, sells and holds) as well as up to the minute stock market commentary. There is the Australasian Equities report (AE, weekly stock recs), the Australasian Mining report (AM, weekly mining stock recs), & the CFD Trading report (CFD, daily CFD trade recs). Also included is a daily blog, mid week alerts where necessary, and a research archive of past recs.

FN Arena is an online financial information service, where a team of journalists reports each day (Mon-Fri) on the latest opinions, recommendations, targets and forecasts by the ten leading stock brokers and equity investment advisers in the Australian market. Their Australian Broker Call is made available to subscribers each morning before the opening of the Australian share market at 10am. They also have a tool called 'Stock Analysis', so you can analyse their recs. A range of other analysis is provided in areas such as economics, commodities, currencies, and technical analysis.

Now owned by Morningstar, the Huntleys publication 'Your Money Weekly' (which has been around for over 30 yrs) contains opinion on researched stocks and provides model portfolios. This is now part of the Morningstar Premium membership, which also includes a range of tools such as market commentary, stock screeners, stock analyst reports, managed fund analysis and more.

The Intelligent Investor is a sharemarket publication that follows the principles of 'value' investing. It provides stock trade recs on the website daily, in 2 emails weekly and in a publication every fortnight. Also included are regular updates and articles published daily, new stock ideas, Q&A forums, pod casts, education, access to over 1,500 stock reviews online – with fresh content added daily , and private investment workshops.

The Investing Times is a 20 page newsletter published approximately every six weeks – 8 issues per year. It provides researched strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies and specific investment recommendations across all major asset classes. It specifically includes recommendations for long term core sharemarket investment as well as for managed funds both domestic and international. Each issue has regular features such as current strategy, current market mood, latest sharemarket reviews with recommendations, as well as regular reviews on new products. 

The Microreport is a bi monthly newsletter focusing on the micro cap segment of the Australian Stock Market. A value investing, analytical approach and wide criteria screening, result in a small carefully selected basket of stocks, with weighting based on risk/return objectives. There is also a 'radar' section of potentially interesting stocks but not yet meeting selection worthiness, a news section and historical performance reporting. Subscribers have access to the members section,where they can access forum, company news and more features.

This is a weekly portfolio report that reviews the technical and fundamental outlook for major local and international ETFs listed on the Australian share market. Each ETF under coverage is provided a rating based on three criteria: trend performance, relative price strength and fundamental valuations.  This information is used to construct two "enhanced index" core and satellite model portfolios.  Both portfolios are "total return" in nature, meaning they will seek defensive exposure when market conditions dictate.

A weekly stock market website which utilises a value-investing philosophy to value shares on the Australian stock market. Rational Investing also employs technical analysis on top of fundamental and macroeconomic analysis to highlight the best times to invest in the stocks covered. In order to keep its analysis straightforward and transparent, there's also a model portfolio with profits and losses.

The Rivkin Report was established in 1997 by the late Rene Rivkin (now run by his sons and team) and became probably the most well known stock market publication in Australia. It is a weekly report with trade recs and a market wrap. On average, they recommend one new stock pick every week, and provide updates throughout the week (including SMS alerts). Members also have access to a range of extra's such as their 'Blue chip dogs portfolio', education resources, and the Bourse investor center.

Stock Resource is a weekly electronic newsletter service that specialises in the resources sector. The report combines fundamental, and technical analysis covers medium and long term investment opportunities, plus analysis of market trends. – It is published approximately 49 times per year, with short breaks around Christmas/New Year and Easter. An e-mail alert is sent to Members each Wednesday when the latest report is posted on the website. The website holds an archive of past recommendations and mid week alerts are used for urgent situations.

The chartist is a daily stock market advisory service that utilizes technical analysis to measure market probabilities, and identify patterns and trends. It covers both the Australian and US stock markets. Short term trading options are the ASX Power setups (ASXP), US Power setups (USP), or both in the Short term bundle (STB). There's the Growth Portfolio (GP)for longer term investors, and a SMSF timing model (SMSF) specifically pitched at SMSF trustees. The Pain Report is a monthly publication written  by Jonathan Pain, a former Chief investment officer of Rothchilds AAM. The report seeks to provide its members with an independent and global perspective of the financial markets, free of spin and bias. The report is known as one of the few that was sounding the alarm bells on the GFC before it happened back in 2007. Areas of special interest are developing Asia, particularly China and India, the Middle East (where he lived for 9 years) and oil. Members receive a minimum of 12 reports a year. It provides a top down view of the economy and of financial markets, and includes some big picture trade recs.

Tradeideas.com.au is a free site that highlights and presents a variety of different investment and trade ideas from around the globe. The overall broad investment strategy and thematic overviews are discussed highlighting the developing themes in global markets, what is likely to dominate market direction and gives guidance to asset classes, sectors and industries that are likely to prosper and those that will suffer. The aim is to give traders the focus needed to implement the correct trading strategy and to be at the forefront of market opportunities. Individual specific trade ideas are published across Equities, FX, Commodities and interest rates.

Lance Spicer's Trident Confidential is a weekly report providing market views, information on trading and investments strategies, new buys and sells on both Australian and International stocks, and a full model portfolio and performance update. Membership also enables access to Lance's books and other special reports he has written over the years.

Under the Radar Report provides ideas on investing in the specific area of "small caps", or small listed companies. Radar's "small cap" market refers to companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) with market capitalisations between $20 million and $300 million. They cover all industry sectors. Subscribers receive stock market tips, sector reviews, interviews with successful fund managers, a model portfolio, and comments from industry heavyweights. Investment committee members include Geoff Wilson, Karl Siegling, and Richard Hemming.

A daily newsletter, written by top rated institutional stock broker Charlie Aitken, head of dealing at Southern Cross Equities. This was previously a morning note that got emailed to his fund manager client base, but got so widespread via email forwarding, it has now become a popular subscription based newsletter. Available each morning prior to market open, it summarises the overnight action and provides insights and stock picks in the ASX, direct from the institutional coalface, however there are no model portfolios as such to follow with any performance history.

Wise Owl offers a choice of 3 weekly newsletters that use quantitative, fundamental and technical analysis coupled with risk management techniques, to provide buy and sell recs in the ASX. There is the 'Equities report' (ER - all equities), the ASX 200 report (A2 - recs on top 200 stocks), and the Derivatives report (DR - includes covered calls, dividend stripping, and CFD strategies).
