SMSF Technical Updates

SMSF Technical updates is a monthly audio update on SMSF Radio where we look at what is happenning in the world of SMSFs, particularly from a technical viewpoint. This will include updates on rules, laws, and announcements from the Government or regulator on changes that may be occuring.

These are all MP3 files and so will play on just about anything.

February 2012

Technical update for the month of February - our first for 2012 - covering a number of announcements that were made at the end of last year, but are due to be implemented this year, some of which are yet to be legislated. Key among these is the dropping of the concessional contribution cap from $50,000 to $25,000 for those with an account balance of over $500,000. Plus a whole lot more.
